But the cfo just threw a notch in my chain and said that a lift on a 4runner wouldn't be out of the question.

 

They do close that road, I can't remember the exact dates when they close it but it opens sometime around April 1st.

Im not totally sure on the exact day it closes or opens but I think it closes at the end of hunting season-Jan 1st, and opens the first Saturday of April-the opening of trout fishing season. There are some free primitive camping sites available near Pink Beds on that road.

I really hope they aren't going to take like 20 rigs down Hurricane Creek or anything like that. I am a member but not active on the sight.

I don’t think so. Right now they’re mostly talking about coffee meetups and what not. Many of the trails are closed till April 1st. There is a lot of talk about Uwharrie national forest trail rides. Some up in Boone also.

 

That's good. It's big groups hitting these unkept rds that get them trashed and shut down. Well that and people venturing off the rd onto private property.

 

There are no trails in Boone. If they are referring to Richland Rd...it’s CLOSED and PRIVATE property.

 

Does anyone know a good alignment shop around the Hickory area that can work on my 06 tacoma with a 3" lift with 285s along with light racing adjustable uca. Looking for someone that can work with me to get +2.5 to 3 on caster while getting toe and camber close to 0 as possible?? was hoping that a more positive caster would allow me to avoid the cmc. My truck rarely leave the pavement.

 

You can try sidepipes in newton, heard good things about them.

Mr.Tire in newton did mine, 3.5 driver, 4.2 passenger on caster with spc ucas. Cost 100 bucks but they did what I wanted.

You're not going to get camber at 0 with your caster being adjusted like that. Camber and caster directly affect each other when being adjusted. Your best bet is to get camber as high as possible while keeping camber within factory spec. Toe is easy they can get that to 0.

Try RIDES in Conover...not sure if they do alignments or not...if not, I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.

 

I went there in my search and they acted like they didn't even know what an adjustable UCA was....lol

 

Oh really? You'd think they would know what that is considering the type of work they do.

My caster is 3.5 and 4.2. Still at 0.5 and 0.8 on everything else.
