Damn, hate that. At least it's warm out today :)

My furnace and central air is 21 yrs old...I'm waiting on them to go out any time now.

When they do I'm replacing this propane furnace with a heat pump...I can't afford to heat the house with $3/gal propane in the winter, shits expensive.

It will be Han Solo's blaster. There's 37 parts to print. Sadly, the receiver was the longest print and it failed, so I'll have to do it again tonight. I've got probably a good 2-3 days of printing left to get all the parts made

Same. 21 yrs old. I just had it serviced about 2 yrs ago.
It's mid 70's today but my game/studio is above the garage and it's getting toasty in here.
Atleast I can take a blow up mattress downstairs as it has a seperate unit.

    Anyway...playing hooky again tonight.

I'm not sure how old our's is, but it looks old. It's struggled to make it through the winter at times.

I got a couple quotes to replace it back in the Fall - for a hybrid heat pump/furnace setup most places were at $10-12k.

I'm in the wrong industry. Apparently HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing is where it's at.

Seems like that's where my empties end up too!

No doubt. I had a couple of quotes to add electrical to my barn and decided I was better off just running an extension cord to it for now.

Just run a "Heavy Duty" extensions cord to the shed that is on it's own breaker and buried underground..

I thought about that, but when I was reading about it it seemed everyone was advising against it. I figured I'd run it through PVC, rent a trencher for a couple of hours and knock it out.

Yea that's the idea. I was not saying to go down to Walmart and get an extension cord... Go to an electrical supply store and get a "Heavy Duty """""Extension cord"""""" wink wink cough ka kaw ka kaw nudge nudge wink

Refill them. If you want to recycle you'll have to ask your local trash people. Maybe google will have an answer but I just refill mine.

    Heat pump that far north??

Wife and I moved to Rock Hill last year and the builder installed a heat pump. Last winter was worse, but I've noticed an awful lot of "aux heat" kicking on in the morning trying to get it up to 67.

Our convenience centers have a recycle bin just for them. I imagine Greenville has the same.
