Why would the 4Runner crowd care? What would be interesting is a Sequoia with a factory locker and crawl control. The real shame is that it's not a 200 Series.

When drum brakes get wet they don't stop worth a crap. If you ever drove a vehicle with just drums and went through some water you would know what i'm talking about.

True, but the front is where the serious force is needed, compared to the back. If it were such an important engineering advantage, Toyota wouldn't be in the very slim minority in this aspect.
... and don't forget about all the people with frozen drum ebrakes. Do a search on this site.

I can't say "Sequoia TRD Pro" without laughing... just doesn't sound right.

Drum brakes are cheaper that is the only reason any car or truck has them period.

Drum brakes heat up faster and fade faster. On a car they may be fine but if you are riding hills or pulling a trailer or hailing a load disc are much better. I drums were better they would be running them on race cars and 1 ton trucks.

Drums ARE the brakes of choice for trucks that haul almost everything we use. Meaning GVW 80,000 trucks with a 10 wheel tractor pulling an 8 wheel trailer. I bet your Toyota rode on one. :D

    Just sayin'

Rear bumper too, looks like as we predicted, new LED tails and headlights, new grille and some added features interior wise with Entune 3.0.

Agree. Anyone expecting more hadn't paid attention to the history of this truck. And is going to be pretty disappointed.

That definitely seems like a possibility looking at the one facing the camera.

That was the first thing I thought - but maybe it's just the lighting and the way the fabric is sitting, creating shadow.

same mesh in the brightened up teaser photo too. Interesting to say the least. But definitely feeling better about my 19 right now. Not as much buyers remorse. May do the anytime front camera mod. To counter possible 360view. lol

Maybe I'm going blind from staring at the pic, but I don't see the lower lip on the front bumper.

It appears to me there is a different color. Whether it sticks out or not, I can't tell.
