I like it! I've had all the pieces just sitting in a box ready to do this mod and have not found the time to just do it. May take your approach here, I like the way it looks, until I drill a hole that doesn't line up lol

 

Lol it's sort of a pain to drill that hole since the piece is so small. I started with a small hole in the center then used a larger bit angled the way the bolt would slide through.

 

I love them, just because most people dont Haha. Honestly it's for the insane fog I get driving up to my local ski hill. The yellow blasts through it

 

What are you doing with the red one?

 

Going to put it up for sale, if @TOMB doesn't want it since he expressed interest in it possibly a little while back, when I got the ghost insert in.

I bought it a while back, but just got the chance to do the swap now.

 

Let me know. I'll be in your area Saturday so if it needs to be transported or if I might buy it. I assume it's epoxied in? Probably no chance of putting it in my silver grill

 

I'll take a pic of the back tonight if you want. Not sure if it's epoxied in or not, but there are some screws back there that look like they are holding the mesh in place.

Thanks! Nope, just held the plastic in my hand, started with a small pilot hole and made it progressively larger. Took a little while but a lot of that was trimming the plastic to make it look purdy.

Does that ball have the stud attached to it? I like aesthetically it looks a hell of a lot better.

 

I think that was probably my mistake.
I started a little larger and had to straighten it, ended with more of a oval!

 

What wheels are these?

 

The 0.5" ram ball is attached to that silver base which screws onto the M6x75mm bolt. I love how it looks but those damn things are EXPENSIVE for what they are.

 

It's ram what do you expect. I have tried some of the knock off chinese crap on the yak and they are no where near the quality. I would only buy ram or high quality products meant to work with Ram. They are expensive though no doubt.

 

But finding a M6 that long is another travel!
