That's definitely a sequoia on the left. TRD Pro Sequoia... y tho? How many Sequoia owners go wheeling?

It's actually a pretty decent platform for an overland rig. Makes total sense to offer something bigger than the 4Runner but more affordable than the 200 Series with just some minor parts bin additions from the Tundra.

Just seems awfully wide for some trails. I barely fit my Taco down the trails local to me.

It really makes no sense considering how few Sequoias they sell. I would think they would have done a Pro Highlander long before a Sequoia.

This looks like it would be the new Tacoma. I think the gray one in the back is a 2019. This one has an air dam that’s looks somewhat the same as ours. Plus the outline of the headlights. Just my two cents.

You live in Kansas City. You don't actually have trails. ;-)

Dear God, I'm not greedy but just needy. Please let Toyota put a 8 speed tranny with full blown LED headlights, power adjustable seats, upscale 2 tone cloth seats (you have my permission to borrow it from GMC Canyon All Terrrain) and best of all, still price the crewcab OR to under $40k.

And drum brakes are still ok to me.

Whatever it is. The 2020 OR DC will be in my driveway when they come out to the public.

What’s under the driver side mirror on the (uncovering) pic?

The covers have windows that are are a black mesh. It looks like since it was partially opened, it's just that portion hanging down. I don't think that's anything.

I agree that if you look close you can almost see the shape of the headlights.

Apples and oranges. Heavy Haul trucks by and large are air brake systems, not hydraulic as in passenger vehicles. Air disc brakes systems are more complicated, expensive and less commonality of parts. There is also a few more economic reasons drums are still status quo for heavy haul trucking in the USA and nothing to do with them being superior.

Too many but also not enough mods
Why is there a $1k difference between the price of a pair of LED (Hi/Low/Daytime) Tundra headlights in black housing and the Tacoma with Halogen Hi/Low, LED Daytime running lights and black housing??

Is it just me or does it look like there is the lower air dam the trd sport has?

That looks like the off road wheels though...why would the air dam be on the trd off road

This whole 2020 Tacoma thing is both fun and sucks. I've never bought a new vehicle before. I don't really have an interest in most new stuff out there. Don't follow the news or auto shows. But I'm actually looking to pick up a Tacoma, my first new vehicle purchase, and then I found out the 2020 is about to be unveiled.. Dammit. Now, if its got some changes I actually care about, that means waiting for months and months. :annoyed:

I'm mainly interested to see what sort of updated amenities there are, I guess. People have mentioned new Entune; is that something that is already in another model that I can reference for features (Android Auto)? Or could it be something entirely new/updated across all models? Couldn't care less about a power seat. I sit in a vehicle, set it, and then maybe never touch it again.

Edit: Eh, did some Googling on Entune.

When do orders typically open up at dealers for the new model year and when do they usually hit showrooms?

Then again, if they've somehow made it uglier, then that makes the decision to get a 2019 easier for me.
