227k and still ticking. Bought it with 225k and had to do some minor work to it. All very worthwhile though.

    Nice first post!

Do you have a lift on there yet? If so, what are you running in the front to support the bumper? Do you happen to know what the additional weight of that bumper is over stock?

Lastly, why did you choose the ARB front bumper? Over say a more specialized plate bumper, or a tube bumper? (I'm considering an ARB, because 1) it was engineered for our trucks, and 2) it seems to be one of the less expensive front bumper options.)

Looks nice. Almost identical miles and dates to my DC. I think you've been nicer to your truck, though.

2001 w/248k. Just did timing belt/water pump and other associated bits. Would like to build a bed rack/canopy soon for some light camping trips in the future. Also want to replace chrome trim (bumpers, grill) with black, as they are pitting and chrome isn't really my thing.

2004 TRD Cab, bought it new in March 2004, put 120k on it & sold it to my brother - he put 110k on it and got the hots for an F150 - bought it back from him with 230k on the clock. Still doesn't use any oil. Mobil 1 oil with Toyota filter. Its had mostly just routine maintenance since new. I did have to have a new rack & pinion, tie rod ends & lower ball joints at about 232k. I loved it the 1st time I had it and I love it now :)

I have an 02. Bought it 2006 with, I believe, 71,000. I currently have 280,000. No major problems, (although, I've had to replace the radiator, twice in the last 6 yrs.) I absolutely, LOVE my truck. Gas mileage is disappointing, when you work 50 miles from home. I can live with that!

252k on my 2000 Taco, all of it done as a company truck before I got my hands on it. To the best of my knowledge, the only way for it to rack-up that many miles in under 20 years would involve it being a service truck and driving out to customers sites across the country.

This was taken before I bought it and cleaned it up.

Nothing wrong except a small tear in the side of the driver seat and rear passenger window latch broke. Hopefully goes another 259,850 more.
