No different than if the house was being sprayed from the inside if it was new. While the studs are exposed I’m going to run new wiring to all exterior walled outlets and all plumbing has been fixed. If and when I move and someone wants to do something else, it’s on them.

I have the same one. It warms ok if you are under it. Dont expect it to heat a garage though.

Those radiant heaters are extremely directional. I use one in the living room. Always thought it's be good to run one in the garage. I originally wanted to run a gas line for a gas version (which work extremely well), but rather than get permits and such for the line, an electric version might do the trick, even for a small area.

Yeah if you have a couple of them and good surface to warm, I bet they would heat up pretty good.

I did get it from Northern, waited for it to go on sale. It was warm out today but it seemed good, not really expecting it to heat the garage but hoping I can stand under it to take the chill off.

A couple oil filled radiator heaters along with that radiant one above will probably do a decent job of heating it up.

I guess I'm just imagining trying to demo drywall that's got spray foam stuck to the back of it hahaha. If you've got new wiring and good plumbing then you should be good to go.

I've also seen it done where you put house wrap around the utilities before spraying creating a cavity for the foam to surround them then spray this makes future work a little easier and cleaner. Maybe it would work for @Martyinco too?

House was built in 1932, I’ve got plaster with two layers of drywall on top of it, the second layer has Architectual ceilings. I’m never touching that drywall

I’ve seen the cavity trick before

My last job we built/modified one that sits on top of a 55gal drum. Then a few years later they bought a stainless steel tank with a Honda(iirc) pump on the side for pumping the tanks on the Plasma Presses. I think what your looking for may use compressed air through a venturi to build vacuum then you wouldn’t need a vacuum vessel.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand we're done. Grouting sure does suck. All I have to do is seal it and it'll be finished.

Plumbing question: I finished my basement about 3 months ago. 100% amateur job I spent 2 years finishing, top to bottom. Turned out great. I have one small problem. The toilet was preplumbed into the concrete. I have a 1/2” “dricore” subfloor and then 12 mm vinyl plank. This left a negative deficit from flange to flat floor. I put a wax ring, then secondary flange level with floor and then used a green foam ring under the toilet. It was dead flat and no rocking. 3 months in I noticed a little seepage under the toilet. When I pulled the toilet, the inside of the green flange wasn’t tucked down into the floor drain. Everything else still looked tight. Any advice on how I built up that flange? Could it just be the inside of the green foam? Reset and forget it? The saniseal foam website suggests double stacking the green foam for a tighter fit. Any advice would be appreciated. I’ve had success with saniseal in other applications.
