They have my truck tore apart. So far it needs an upper ball joint and 2 gas tank straps

If you zoom in you can see the extra holes they found. Inside frame rail on the front right

 

That’s a rusty frame. My first gen didn’t even look that bad under all the coating...

 

I was really surprised at how many holes there were. Lower rad support is trashed

 

I wonder how my frame will look after 12 years or so

 

What year does the replacement end? Do the 2012s qualify?

 

Dealership won't put my lift in for me. Tech. Says they can't knowingly void frame warranty. To much undo stress on oem parts. I said ok. Guess I will sell the lift lol. I'm just going to see how the new 265 75 16s fill out the wheel wells.

 

Don’t sell the lift. Now’s the best time to swap out the stock suspension, cause there’s no rusty bolts. Toyota is gonna break all the rusty ones, and replace them new.

 

Im done with the chevy. Onto something else

It's just a spacer lift and blocks on the back. I might consider bilstiens on it later. We are planning alot of traveling with the truck this year. I want the smoothest ride possible for now

 

The campaign used to cover 2005-2008. Then a class-action lawsuit (you know, the kind where lawyers pocket all the money) settlement extended it to cover 2009-2010 as well. My 2010's frame was in great condition after 9 winters. Only rusty areas were the cab mounts just aft of the front wheels, which see the most road spray.
