What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

So, in terms of what I did today with our Tacoma... I had the right headlight replaced under warranty after discovering streaks inside the headlight. The service manager agreed "that ain't right" and since they had two right headlights in stock, 90 minutes later I had a new light in. That's the good news, well sort of.

The bad news is, it always seems like you're rolling the dice on oil changes and other "simple repairs" where you know you're not going to get the "A Team Tech" working on your truck. Sure enough, the lens on the new light wasn't protected the way most of us would protect it, i.e., covering it with painter's tape, and the tech put a couple scratches in the lens that were easy enough to see just walking up to the truck. The bodywork wasn't properly aligned when it was put back together, etc. I had the service writer and service manager come and take a look and told them I was disappointed and wanted them to note the blemishes in the log book for the truck. I wasn't going to have them "take another shot at it" as it's another 50/50 bet it will come out right or not. So, once I had it home I went about fixing things. I just don't get how technician's can do stuff like this, i.e., nick a part and just stick it on the car. And, who's buying-off on their work and saying it's good to go and be turned back to the customer.

These days, people want to get the best pay for the least amount of work. The only time it seems to change is if it is their vehicle that is getting worked on. Then they want the best possible work for the least amount of cost.

Doesn’t apply to everyone, but certainly enough to make it noticeable.

For my underhood wiring, I used silicone cased wires inside 1/4 " split loom. Gives me ample flexability at the hinge point along with a clean install.

I sketched a draft up and traced it into CAD, put it into illustrator to edit lineweights, and off to the cricut! Hardest part was measuring haha

What are the wheel specs I have the same spacers on a 285 70 17 17 by 9 -12 and I barely rub

16x8 0 offset 4.5 backspacing.
I probably just need to get the caster adjusted
