I was thinking of going this time around. Who else is planning on attending?

Hold off till registration in March. That way we can make sure to plan it all out. Your plans could change between now and then. Unless it's easy for you to cancel at work.

 

New year, new vacation time.

Just gotta request it off and see what happens, but I'm most certain I could.

Already got my MOAB week requested and approved.

Where did you end up staying last time?

 

We stayed just outside of town (just up the first switchback). there is a trail there with alot of camping options. Talking about maybe an airbnb for a few days this time.

 

I'm planning on going from GA. Going to hit the grand canyon, then travel up for the event.

I heard the event sells out super quick.

 

Gonna have to decline this. The registration alone may be more than I can afford right now.

There is still tons of fun to be had without registering. We will not be registered again this year. Registration just gets you access to the raffle, a shirt, and to be part of the downtown picture. The rest of it is just guided trail runs with tons of other people.

 

Oh sweet, that's great.

Guess we still may consider it then.

 

I mean don't get me wrong, If I had cash to burn I'd love to be registered to support the event. Either way we are supporting the town when we are out to eat or staying in an airbnb. You can purchase swag there as well to support the summit team.

 

I can't go. Wife said we have a wedding to attend for my sister in law. So there goes my vacation time.

 

Better save that vacation time for when her cousin and I get married too.
