It’s been raining for three days now. It’s snow above 5k feet. I have yard work I need to do...

During furlough we were busy with errands. Got motorcycle endorsement and corrected address on DL. Renewed my passport. Figured State Dept was closed and have a pile waiting on them when they opened. Nope. Got it back before the shutdown ended!

Visited the new dentist today. I like them. They’re not LDS so you can have a laugh, talk beer, and let a few cuss words slip and no one gets shocked. Filling out new patient papers, had a laugh. “Previous dentist” was Yosemite Dental. I was sitting in Zion Dental doing the paperwork. We have a theme...

When ever I hear random folks talk about how bad things are for them (usually they’s just talkin to hear themselves talk) I’m reminded about folks in your situation Bill and all’s I think is some folks don’t know how good they have it.

I have told some of these clueless wonders “really it’s that bad huh, let me tell yah about my friend Bill, how would you like to spend a day in his shoes?”

Theres always a space for (me n whom ever) in the best lot. (That’s the Facilities Div lot. No traffic. No lines. No tourists... )

Edit: Just ride in with one of us and get dropped off. Catch the ride back to the house at the end of the day. Waaaay better than any hotel if I do say so myself.

I'm always good with camping...its the hour and a half of circling the parking lot and finding nothing then giving up that I don't care for :D

Looking for comfortable rubber boots with minimal insulation. Something good for pouring concrete and comfortable. Did I say they have to be comfortable? Yes, they must be comfortable.

Last time a Girl Scout pleaded with me with her expert salesmanship to buy her cookies I ended up buying 10 boxes of peanut butter cookies

The bad thing was after all that money spent the boxes of cookies were all gone in less than 45 minutes !!

That’s if you can get a site. (And if you do get a reservation, the CGs are within walking distance of the VC and it will give you parking automatically )

Last time I ended up at the Zion Ponderosa Ranch on the East side. Little rough around the edges but I had a hot shower and Wi-Fi for like $9/night so it got a 5 star rating from me

That’s the kinda camping I think I’m going to have to find this year. You’ll appreciate this Andy. Boss pulls us in for a meeting today. They have now given him the metal shop and put the lazy ass that was my lead man in charge of it. I asked could they change the lifting requirements? Nope. Shit is like pouring salt then bleach into a wide open wound. Only job they have I could maybe do is traffic control. F’that standing out in all weather dealing with pushed off people no thanks.

I have to make it appear I am looking. I’m already getting screwed out of my medical insurance. I’ll have to do cobra until I find a new job. I’ve been screwed so hard I don’t even make noise when I fart anymore
