    Good video. You're right about TW there have been guys to inquire about the 5.7 swap and most say it can't be done. But those naysayers forget that others have paved the way for other swaps or big mods when it was said it can't be done. People just like to be negative these days.

    Yep unless they are shown it can be done of course they say it can't. You are spot on with this assessment! But I grew up around old school hot rodders that were doing wild things making the impossible possible.

    Hey guys. I just want to make sure you all know I'm waiting til after this Motorama show (Feb 16-17) to do any more work to the truck cause it has to be in the show. So I can't really rip into it until after that. Then I have to get the trailing arms and 1 ton rear done before I can tackle the engine swap. I know I have a lot of people interested. Didn't want to leave you hanging!
    Also got 2 other truck projects right now too - my 96 Tacoma (which is totally functional) and my Drift Truck - sorry, not a Tacoma, its a 92 Ram50 and it's got a Honda s2000 engine. I'm adding a turbo to it right now, aiming for 600 HP - Videos are on the YouTube channel if you're interested.
