Well if you look inside the connection you will see 2 prongs. One could always crimp 2 female commectors to a double wire( being the power source wire). Then you would only need to snap them in place

So I made this piece to hold the springs down, so when I disconnect the cables from each other, will it still backlash or do I need to keep tension on them the whole time?

You need to keep them fully tensioned until you tightly connect the cables to the slide for the window. Then you can release. If the springs pop back out, you didn't do the final connection tightly enough

Ok, I get that much, in the build when the track is cut the first time, there is no tension on the cables, correct?

When you do your first cut.. you will have to pry the cut piece off. At that moment you will no longer have tension. You will noticed that there is a lot of tension. After I had cut the piece, and removed it.... I tried to put it back in place but could not. This being said you can see what I mean about the tension. Before cutting, i would tacke the switch that you intend on using and hock it up to a battery to try out the regulator. To keep tension, I used multiple tie-wraps AND kept them in place (even after I had installed the motor inside the small hole of the cross member). After I had the window up and working... then I removed the tie wraps. Make sure to whatch Benwa's videos of the install.

I would remove the bracket you fabricated...wow!!!..... and try out the regulator without anyhing holding the spring plungers. Try it out as you got it. You will notice that the springs do comme out a little on one side as the caddy is sliding towards the left lets say. Then when it slides to the right, you will notice that the other spring will comme out. They need at least somme room to extend

Yes, the bracket I made is only for holding in place during install

It's only temporary to hold the springs down while I'm cutting the track

The tie wraps would do the same. Thing is it's not only to cut the track..... you need the tension on it as you use the system.... but you won't be able to fit it inor the small hole

Even with something holding the spring plungers compressed you have to make sure that you have both cable ends secured to something before applying any power to the regulator. Example would be holding both cable ends and pulling on them ( this is what keeps the tension) as power is applied. The regulator comes with a great amount of tension (which is kept by tne cables pulling against each other) as the caddy slides sideways inside the aluminum track. Whether you have something or nothing to compress the springs if you do not keep each cable end tight the motor will jam. I had a friend holding one of the cable end and I was holding the other end and we were pulling against each other as power was applied. One cable would go inside the motor as the other was coming out

So how many lbs of pressure do u think are on the cables? And I didn't allow for not having the pull pull bracket, I guess I'll make that as well.

I dont know..enough... I know I couldn't put the small 1" piece back in its place (as if it was never cut).

I only put the tie raps after I had cut the track. I guess it really doesnt matter when you compress them but if you use the bracket you made( to cut the track) the springs will loosen up when you remove it, this is why I think I would use tie raps from the get go since you will not remove them until the very end where you check to see if the tension is good. This step is explained in Benwas video called the deslacking process where you move the window by pulling and pusing back an fourth while you are pulling the drivers anchor bracket towards the left inside the window channel. This is what will create the tension.

The pull pull bracket is the most important component of all (besides the motor of course).
