I mean that would work also, I just don't know anyone nearby who could do it for me real quick.

TRD Off Road sticker. Not the whole package, just the sticker.
I'm sure if you have the holes already drilled and surface prepped, any welding out muffler shop would do it for pretty cheap. You could even just weld a nut on the back if you want to go even cheaper. I'd do it if I had a welder.
Maybe someone one here might be willing to help out. I think that would be the best /strongest/ cheapest option

I also have a rivet nut gun and plenty of rivets if you deside to go that route.

Hmm okay, yeah I think basically just tack welding the nuts to the bottom of the bed would be good. A couple of the spots are awkward to get to though. I'll try to take pics tonight

I’m guessing it’s the typical “don’t get it too hot”

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
Driver mod works but seriously sucks any fun out of the drive. Never again.

Yup but times 10. Its not hard though. Just weld a small section, let it cool for a min, repeat. If it warps just a little it'll be a bitch to get a bolt in.
Ask me how I know. Lol
You'll want a little more than a tack if you want it to hold up to repeated tightening. But you dont have to weld it all the way around either.
Also you guys can mount the rack where you want it with the bolts in place before welding. That will help keep the threads from warping and also absorb and disipate some of the heat.

Dont let me scare you away from it. Its not difficult. Just ya'll giving some pointers.

Any option to buy a welder? It’s easily the best investment you can make in this hobby. It opens up a whole new realm of possibilities for you. No more paying 5-6x for something bolt-on that you can cut and weld yourself or having to carve out time to borrow one. I probably use mine 40 times a year even with my build being pretty done. It’s great for making tools/fixtures, repairs, or for various household tasks. Don’t get intimidated by what you read on the internet and think you have to drop $1500 on all the newest Miller stuff either. All my work has been done with a 110v Hobart Handler 140, oftentimes in flux core too. I still lived in an apartment without a garage when I got mine and still found ways to use it either on the back patio or out in the lot with a long extension cord. Definitely one of the best bang for the buck things you can get.

Anyone ever had the adjustment nuts on coilovers seize up. If so, how hard is it to get it moving again. Found a guy selling some that are like that, wondering if I can get them loose

That could be a possibility. We just need to work out the logistics

maybe one day, I have never really watched someone else do it before (since I didn't have a shield on). I want to learn but it's not an option for me at the moment
