I'm always good with camping...its the hour and a half of circling the parking lot and finding nothing then giving up that I don't care for :D

Looking for comfortable rubber boots with minimal insulation. Something good for pouring concrete and comfortable. Did I say they have to be comfortable? Yes, they must be comfortable.

Last time a Girl Scout pleaded with me with her expert salesmanship to buy her cookies I ended up buying 10 boxes of peanut butter cookies

The bad thing was after all that money spent the boxes of cookies were all gone in less than 45 minutes !!

That’s if you can get a site. (And if you do get a reservation, the CGs are within walking distance of the VC and it will give you parking automatically )

Last time I ended up at the Zion Ponderosa Ranch on the East side. Little rough around the edges but I had a hot shower and Wi-Fi for like $9/night so it got a 5 star rating from me

That’s the kinda camping I think I’m going to have to find this year. You’ll appreciate this Andy. Boss pulls us in for a meeting today. They have now given him the metal shop and put the lazy ass that was my lead man in charge of it. I asked could they change the lifting requirements? Nope. Shit is like pouring salt then bleach into a wide open wound. Only job they have I could maybe do is traffic control. F’that standing out in all weather dealing with pushed off people no thanks.

I have to make it appear I am looking. I’m already getting screwed out of my medical insurance. I’ll have to do cobra until I find a new job. I’ve been screwed so hard I don’t even make noise when I fart anymore

I like Lacrosse boots. Pretty comfy to me, as far as rubber boots go. Some of my friends wear Muck and say they are comfortable. I've tried the $20 Walmart versions and they kill my back.

There’s lots of good dispersed camping, but that comes without the showers unless it rains. Coral Pink State park, no power at sites, but has showers. Really small CG which is nice.

Y’all have so much more dispersed camping out there. We have some but it’s more hidden I’m not good at finding it yet

Between the back pain and boots that hurt my feet is what I'm trying to avoid. I have had some in the past that were comfortable but those were mostly lace up/packers. Not something I want to wear in concrete or sewage muck. I've also had turnouts but those are a little much but they do have a good firm sole. I don't mind spending $100 and up if they a good boots.

As much as I talk about our CG's, we have way more dispersed. Even the LTVA's are dispersed. We really only have 1 that is by "site" and it's the one that takes the majority of our time this time of year. 4 bathroom buildings, 16 showers, token machine, 8 water heaters, 4 lift stations/septic tanks...headaches.

These are my go to boots when it's not cold outside. I buy 1 size larger on any rubber boots I buy in case I wear thick socks.https://www.amazon.com/Lacrosse-Gra...ts+for+men&dpPl=1&dpID=4181c4vxe6L&ref=plSrch

I didn't see any without laces. But if I were still up in wet and muddy areas I wouldn't mind buying a couple pair of them.
