Because some people are just insufferable pricks. I'm with you, these cocksuckers ought to have to experience the result of their actions, directly.

Not Taco directly but related. Came back home from a 3-month camping adventure knowing I had spilled numerous items into my ARB fridge over that time. Didn't want to take all the beer (and other food stuffs) out and get warm while cleaning out the ARB so just let it sit...and start smelling and growing "stuff." Finally got around to it. Try not to imagine what that smelled like. No after pics but just imagine what one looks like when new.

One of my rules of life!!! When my truck went in for the frame swap, I took a brand new bottle and asked the tech to use it on everything. He gave me back a half bottle, and I have yet to find a single bolt or nut that doesn't have it on it. When I pulled off my trailer hitch after 13 years, the insides of the nuts were still shiny. And that is 13 years in upstate New York, the heart of the rust belt!!

I fail to see how a hc bumper will help this issue..

    Fancy.

I just cut the stock mudflap bracket. Not sure why people remove the whole thing.

Yeah your not helping anything. Just cutting off part of it. It's still going to move and if it's starting to tear it's still going to.

Nope. Can be wet or dry, the spec is the spec. Most external components like suspension are dry spec but antiseize will not affect the specs appreciably- the safety tolerances are just too big. And remember- the friction of the head against the part is what keeps it from spinning loose- the threads are just there to generate that friction (clamping force). That's why antiseize on wheel bolt threads is fine, but don't put it on the shoulder.

We joke that the New England Edition of Haynes just replaces 'loctite' with 'antiseize'.

Yup, it’s been confirmed it’s the input shaft on the transmission. That bearing needs replacing.

Some of us may have accidentally tore them off and never noticed trying to get unstuck one time.

I don’t understand why people assume trucks don’t see dirt because it looks clean or because they don’t personally like the look of it. I live in Hawaii, it’s kinda hard to have fun out here without taking your truck off road. Might not take the truck out on the mud with those wheels but it sure does go out, i just happen to like to take care of my truck and keep it clean, whys that so hard to understand?

Also I have noticed a lot of old old post revivals lately. I hate quoting a post if its over a day old and the topic has been long passed.
