Thanks! I bought that kayak shortly after getting my Tacoma. Haven't even used it yet, cuz Winter. The bed extender did a fantastic job when I hauled the kayak home from the store though.

Reaaaaalllly looking forward to spring so I can take the Tacoma and kayak out to the lakes and do some fishing.

On topic. I let my truck sit at home today while I drove my kid's car to work.

Today is Lunar New Year. Here, that is a really big deal - it IS Vancouver, after all. LOL

Well, in my house it is Chinese New Year. That comes with being married to a Hong Kong woman. And it is a minor distinction that I have learned to accept. Quietly.

It's like Christmas, except with better food, a bigger parade and (much) colder weather.

Like Christmas, it involves gift-giving, mostly old(er) married people giving little red envelopes full of money to younger people. Of late, it seems we are the old people and everybody else is younger.

Sigh.

However, it would appear that The Year of the Pig is starting out very well.....I came home this afternoon to find the above visage awaiting me.

I am not sure how a Pop n Lock represents money-making or prosperity or good business prospects, but I will go with it. I'm not even going to grumble about what Amazon did to the box...all of the listed bits are there and accounted for. Contrary to what I oft loudly proclaim, somebody WAS listening to me. This time.

Alas, I will have to wait until it warms up to install it. Our garage, which adequately - if not comfortably - housed our Highlander just barely accepts the Taco...literally, five centimetres on either end....which means i have no hope of opening the tailgate and closing the bay door....my request to take out a closet, a powder room and part of a hallway to extend the garage has thus far not been well received.

And, much to my shock, I sold the old Highlander today, at very near its listed price.

 

There is also a wet shaving thread if he is into that. It is pretty dead but I have my wet shaving forums on Facebook I really like.

 

I agree. I did this swap a while ago. I think the SR/SR5 bezel has more style. The boxy bezels look out of place.

 

I have been on the fence about getting one of these. How do you like it? My concern is how well they hold up in cold/snowy climate.
