Just got their coupon flyer in the mail, "Huge Parking Lot Sale" March 8th-10th

 

That could be called the wonder bra advertising technique I believe.

 

That made me chuckle

 

used the 2000w inverter generator yesterday to camp. It ran no issues,even got some rain on it..powered furnace, lights, and water pump. Didn't sweat any of it. Its broke in now. Went thru 2 gals of gas with all the above running for 1 day. Kept the heat going all night during the storm.

 

Some of these models have 18in lift height but this one has 19 5/8. I just git this one on sale , I paid $104 shipped. Reallly nice jack. My old orange one was suffering .The base on this one is longer than my old one as well.

 

Make sure the fluids topped of and you're good to go.

 

I have a bunch of random tools from HF as I have one a few miles from me. Pretty easy to justify the cost difference between there and the big box stores. I won't buy anything from them that my life might depend on. That being said, I don't think I have ever had a tool from them really 'fail'.

 

All my 1/4", 3/8" SAE and metric sockets and ratchets and my 1/2" SAE sockets are from HF - I saved tons and they work just as well as any. If I upgrade anything it's usually ratchets and I've gotten a nice swivel head 1/4" ratchet from them and a nice 3/8" swivel head ratchet off of Amazon.

Only broke one 1/4" extension from being an idiot and trying to loosen a driveshaft bolt with it and they let me walk out with a replacement just like that.

 

Time to look at the manual then. Not sure how to do that. Thanks for the tip. Regular hydrolic oil

 

No sir. Jack oil. Hyd oil would probably work, and I don't even know the reasons to not use it, I've just always heard it's better to use jack oil.

Are you asking if you can just buy a same sized socket of any other brand? If so then yes. If you're asking if you can ask for a free replacement some stores might.

 

They dont sell individual as far as i know.

But if you need a common individual socket head to a pawn shop that sells tools. Most will have a big bin to sift through amd they should be cheap (ive seen anywhere from 50 cents to 2 bucks each)

Haha- I'm just curious what you keep in all of them. I only have 2, one for bolts, nuts, machine screws, and truck hardware and the other for wood screws.

 

Yeah, same sort of stuff... about 4-5 hold nuts/bolts/washers of various origin both metric and standard. One is all different grits of sandpaper, one with a bunch of house type stuff like picture hangers, sheetrock screws, self tappers, wire nuts, etc... Another one is full of different grit scotch brite pads, a couple of them are all automotive electrical stuff (heat shrink, all sorts of connectors, solder, crimping pliers) one is full of roloc discs.... You get the idea. Its just nice having a certain task at hand and being able to grab one or two of them and have pretty much everything all there.

I remove the little organizers in them for most things.

 

So who owns their electric power washer?
I have a monster gas powered pressure washer that is over kill for most of the things I use it for: ie: siding, truck wash, general cleaning, etc.

I was thinking for $79 ( with coupon) this may be a good addition.
