Gonna see if I can just get a quick OEM style positive cable tomorrow on our way up to Tahoe just in case I have to replace it away from home

 

You can replace just the clamp if you want

 

Yeah you're right I'll just pick one of them up then look into upgrading the cables later

 

I have an OEM 5VZ battery and alternator harness if you’re interested. Was going to use it on the 5-lug.

Possibly. Gonna see if replacing the connector works as a long term solution. If it needs more than that I'll hit you up

 

wait is it the cable or just the terminal that connects to the battery? if its the terminal toyota dealers usually stock them for cheap

 

The connector that clamps to the terminal. I just picked a universal one up from Oreillys looks like it should work

 

That’ll work, the oem one works best if you have any issues though. No need to replace the entire harness if it’s just the terminal end though
