I live on a hill... Roommates and I had great entertainment watching cars attempt to get up it and wind up just sliding back down. Had to move 3 cars out of the way due to dumbassery. Mostly just stupid prius'....

Evidently one of our guys in Everett didn't visually check his kingpin in this frozen crap and dropped his trailer nose down in the warehouse lot. Oops

Tug test is just called accelerating if you aren't attached :ballchain:

North Bend schools closed again today. Gonna tie a sled up to the truck and take the kids on a high speed run and see if I can lose any of them.

Also made like 10 quarts of homemade chicken soup so that's good to keep warm.

The snow in S. Everett was fun yesterday, now it's just a bunch of crusty ice. Weather forecast says more snow to freshen it up isn't due until Friday afternoon.

Haha I'll gladly rock a sticker! Hopefully soon I'll have time to get out and go to a meet. Seems like I'm always working.

Thanks for this, this morning, I was debating taking Airport or i5 but I checked TW before I left the house. Tacoma World is better than King 5 traffic!

I knocked over 100lbs of ice off my truck after this mornings commute. Weird how 300+ lbs of bumpers, sliders and winch can feel normal, but an extra 150lbs overnight can make handling questionable

Get a boat tow tube quick release and hook to your truck and put someone in the bed
Go to a parking lot get going straight then turn hard
When the tube/sled hits the apex pop the QR and it flings them like a horizontal trebuchet! It so awesome!

@Sparky. Man I dont miss being an apprentice. Ours is one month straight for 4 years.

You guys didnt miss much, I would not try to go greenwater to Snoqualmie. Unless you want to hike out and leave your truck for the winter. The snow layers are bad news. In order top to 10 inches from bottom sugar snow4 inches thick, then a half in roughly ice, then sugar snow 6 inches , ice, small layer of heavy snow, ice, sugar snow and the last 10 inches?? About 3ft total.

Went to help out some sledding guys, broke through the half inch of ice on top and had no traction or usuable snow for 2ft. Its was alot of digging and jacking to be able to use 4x6s to give solid base. The subject of avalanche came up, we were all surprised one didnt happen yet up there.

Otherwise the first half of the day was flawless and a blast.

Careful there. No matter how confident you are, you still have to watch out for other people.

The Taco handles this stuff like a beast. The people on summer tires and texting really bother me in this weather though.
