Smallest Rims/Tires

This is how I feel right now because I recently had an OME kit installed but I haven't changed the tyres and wheels. I'll probably get BFG KO2 tyres but I'm not sure what style of wheel I want. All I know is that I want them in a gunmetal colour. That would be real nice with the cement paint.

 

I have a set of KO2s on another vehicle and have not been happy with them at all. Balancing issues since day one

 

Simple, dont have it on your roof.
Get a bed rack that’s still relatively low.

Do the crossbars need to be on a riser? Maybe get some T-slot nuts and mount the crossbars closer to the rails on the cap?

 

Just jealous because you don’t have a subzero fridge, solar panels and sleeping quarters mounted to your Tacoma

 

Just buy a air compressor, cheaper and faster

 

Find a different way to mount the tent to your cap and save a few inches right there.

If you think that you need to keep a roof top tent on your truck all the time, then you're wrong.

If you think that you need to modify your truck in order to keep the truck with the roof top tent in your garage, you're wrong.

Calipers in the rear?

The calipers are in the front. Drums are in the rear. The rear you could probably get away with 15s but that would look stupid with 16s up front

 

To roll it 10 feet into the garage? Does it matter what it looks like? If this is the op’s easiest method to take off the rtt then it is what it is.

 

Find the smallest possible wheels and stack spacers to clear the front calipers.

I think it’s more of a hassle than it’s worth. Having to swap out wheels and tires every time you want to park in your garage?
