Im currently torn: Should i rebuild my winch or get a new/used one? I currently have a Warn VR8000s. Its definitely not happy. May just need some new gears, etc. Thoughts?

 

Get close to those and it should be good. Funny though cus i thought High tech was the truck place that used to do lots of lifted truck stuff and should know this for how much they charge?

 

How much would a rebuild cost? A 9.5 with cable is $299 right now.

The whole lot is filled with lifted trucks/Jeeps and Landrovers. Maybe he just slapped it together since he couldn't get the cam adjuster loose.

He was asking me about the wrap.
I know you got a deal, but he's wondering about costs for hood & roof.

 

Yeah the lot is full of lifted vehicles, but for the 2nd time they were not able to get mine within limits. They didnt charge me the 2nd time, but spent 2.5 hrs on it and had to call there. Toyota "specialist"

So that's the main reason for new LCAs.

 

Could buy the $300 one (like tyler and I have) and swap your syn line onto it.
