These look super familiar..... lol has anybody tried these things? I know, I know, you get what you pay for. But, I plan on buying a new bumper/winch combo this fall, and I would like to upgrade my somewhat useless foglights for the time being. In the end, once the new bumper gets purchased, I'll be having to buy some new fog lights anyways so I'd prefer to not spend a fortune on an upgrade for the current bumper. These things are only $80, and also feature 3 leds per foglight assembly like the Morimoto assemblies.

Morimoto buys from the same Chinese supplier as those EBAY fogs but the only difference is the package and a morimoto sticker they are the same lights. Morimoto and the others buy all their lights from Chinese suppliers cause they can buy them dirt cheap fluff up the packaging play a good PR game on websites and turn a 3 to 1 profit on the hype.

Very curious about these, cant want to see what they look like. Ive been looking to replace my fogs since they have alot of condensation in them.

By the time you buy the pod light adapters AND a set of pod lights, I'd still be 2x the price of the ebay assemblies. I was trying to look for a decent upgrade on a budget. If these perform the same as the morimotos, though not as strong as some of the pods, it should still prove to be an upgrade from the oem assemblies.

Very true, but cheaper than having to buy a different set of lights once you get the new bumper.

Ive got the morimotos, picked em up locally for $90 so this seems like a medium price for a fake set, plus anyone notice on the 5th photo on ebay??? Made by Spyder, being resold under a different "company"
My morimotos arent that bright but they do work well and provide a clean line compared to my headlights

I have no foglights now.. I can get used stock ones for $40 for the pair. Would you buy them over these or something else?

Are you asking for some or trying to sell them because I don't understand?

I wasnt impressed with the OEM ones, so to me, this was a good set to try. If you hold off a bit, I can send you output pictures when they get delivered. Looks like 2/12 delivery

Note that depending on the year the fogs are very different. 05-11 have the low power H10 fogs. 12+ have the much higher power wide angle H11 fogs.

interesting. I knew the housing design changed, but did not know the bulb and overall output was improved!
