Tourniquet application should be on the list. I don’t think most classes train that, at least WFA doesn’t. I’ve never been taught how other than watching YouTube even though it seems simple

Anyone have a good connection for an A.R.E. truck cap? I'm looking at the CX HD and best price I've found thus far is still $3k. Even the standard CX is coming back at $2,250.

I'm down for some training, but I'm not good with blood. If things get too graphic, I might need scraped off the floor.

I think basic first aid plus splinting/stabilizing sprains/broken bones would cover most things people would come across day-to-day and offroading. Initial treatment to stem/stop the bleeding from a GSW while waiting for EMTs would also be a good subject given the number of people on here that work around guns, carry and/or use them extensively for recreation.

A group buy on pre-assembled first aid kits or on items for a DIY kit. Then discussion/training covering more specialized items in the kit like tournaquets, splints, quick clot, etc. I've got a kit in the truck that should be good for me, but I need to go through it and replace anything that's expired. It also came with a book on general/wilderness first aid. I haven't sat down and read it, but I've perused through it.

Yeah they are seized that's why it went back in the first place. @EatSleepTacos pointed it out when he did the suspension install.

I guess I'll need an alignment again after the ECGS bushing anyway?

No the ECGS bushing won’t mess with alignment at all which is nice.

Busted window isnt a huge issue, i used to be an auto glass installer, but also would consider fabbing a hatch door.

There's a NoVA Tacoma group on FB that some of us on here are in. However, it's rarely posted to, since we just post here. :typing: If you're just looking to sell some stuff local-ish, post it in the Southest Yard Sale or New England Buy/Sell threads, or just post in in this thread.

Try getting a quote from Tint Works Plus (TWP) in Prince Frederick Maryland. I got a quote from them last year for a color matched Overland Series with windoors for $2350. Although, I sort of feel like the pricing might be locked down. You could also consider a dealer in Delaware to possibly save your self some tax money.

I don't have the winch and bumper yet, but I have a synthetic line. My SIL bought a Jeep and dropped $15k or so in making it Brotastic. Her hubby did not like the that cheap, weak looking rope the winch came with. He wanted nice sturdy steel. I offered to take it off her hands so she would not have to throw it away. I am helping save the environment.
