This is exactly why automobiles are becoming so expensive. All the extra sensors and ECUs required for monitoring this sensors are driving costs through the roof! Imagine if we could get another early base first gen new! They'd cost so much less than the offerings out there now

Could've been worse... didn't go into the windshield, I'd call that a win. Sucks though. :censored:

Few years back, I had someone toss a brick over a fence just as I was passing by. Damn thing impacted at the front edge of my hood. I was doing about 40ish. Huge dent in the hood. Talk about pissed - damn kids! Lucky though, could've went right into the driver side windshield. I shudder at the thought. @BartMaster1234 will know where - just before the Shasta Co.

So $60-70 for a rebuilt oem CV with an oem rebuild kit sounds fair to me. Napa axles are generally regarded as the best of the parts store brands.

My dad ran with torn boots on his '86 for years. My 92 went a year before we replaced.

There is, yes. I have a RAM mount there. You’ll need an M6 Bolt. I recommend the two part Articulating Arm, as it’ll allow for better fitment and prevent collision with the steering wheel.

CAUTION: If you remove any grab handle with the stock hardware, it uses a JIS screw head. You have to use an impact driver or you will strip it.

    Ask me how I know.

No, I already had a handle there from the factory.

Yes that is a RCR mount. I really didn’t like it, it never fit right. This picture is about three years old. I had to bend the bracket to have the antenna sit 90 degrees.

I have a CBI CB Mount now and I’m much happier.
