Jokes on you guys, it’s a fake auction with pictures of the warehouse from when they were still in business. Pelfrey is just out to steal some more money and not deliver product.

I'm sorry to anyone that got ripped off, but if I was in CA or could get everything shipped to me, I would be bidding.

 

Someone will be a vulture. You'll see auction booty on the WWW at slightly higher prices..

You need to put down a 5g deposit to ensure the warehouse gets cleaned up properly, it gets refunded once you have the place empty.

 

Jeez, there's boxes ready to be shipped. All they needed was a shipping label and to go out the door. Feel sorry for whoever's bumpers are in those boxes.

 

If anyone on here has any part in that auction or can get a hold of some inventory, I still want a swing out for my HC bumper.

 

There was a few of us that briefly discussed this very idea. Sell the equipment to pay off the bid, and robin hood the product inside. We decided against it because there is no way to make it right for everyone that got burned, and we weren't about to try and be judge and jury as to who got first rights.

 

But if you can't pay the freight bill, it's irrelevant. That's the downfall of most boom businesses, case in point. You can have all the sales in the world, but if you don't have the cash flow to cover stuff like freight NOW, that's the ball game.

I had the same initial thought as you. Then the accountant in me kicked in. You're right. Damn shame.

Does anyone know if the CAD files/ IP rights will be sold via Bankruptcy court?

I think $25K will take it unless a lot of people visit to confirm what is truly available.

 

If you did not order a swingout with your bumper, you cannot add one to a non swingout bumper. I remember this when I had a pelfrey hc, why I switched to bruteforce. They were supposed to redesign to allow this but never did.

 

A lot of people got refunded. Would be nice to give a good discount to those on the list that paid cash that have items in the lot (if there is a way to verify). But I am not a bidder so not my money so what I feel doesnt matter

 

I'm aware but it can be fabricated to fit.

Either way, I'd be interested in a gate or even a whole bumper with gate.

 

I built one on an All Pro bumper that never had a swingout. As long at the bumper is reinforced behind where the hinge will go, then there is no issue.
