I’m just about done with mine, ours is 5 years, one day a week school for like 7months. it’s annoying going that long on 32 hour paychecks. Unfortunately yesterday my school wasn’t canceled, but the foreman class I’m supposed to be taking in the same building was canceled.... not sure how that works..... now the foreman class got pushed back until next month because they got scared when the news said more snow might be coming

Have to get a permit for DNR and Forest Service land. Even then I think you can only harvest within like a 100 feet of the road and only downed trees.

Long as its in the designated areas its free game

Yak, that's a lot of rules. Hopefully easier in Olympic National Forest.
2 cords heh? That's what? 6x a full Tacoma bed?

I was just stating the actual size of a cord of wood, i was unclear if you knew. The Olympics has lots of good down trees from this year and last, its all pretty easily to get to as well so a trailer would be feasible. Lots of it is seasoned and easily split as well.

Lots of restrictions due to other Land management companies, and I belive harvesting Cedar is a big fine.

The ranger station where I'd go for a permit is only open M-F 8-4:30. Makes it tough to get a permit when you work/commute during those hours. And they don't always have permits available.

Im 5'-5 my head is on the edge, this tree caught on fire burning the inside. Its now a memorial for the kids that crashed into it. Its in the lowland, still some big timber out there.

Yeah, cedar is a big no-no even if downed already.

Why is that? Just because of its commercial value?

Not sure, hopefully not though. Maybe they're just protected. Funny thing is though they're not even real cedars over here, all false cedars. Real cedars are only native to the Mediterranean.
So I guess maybe you could argue your way out of such a ticket lol

So pretty sure my right rear brake drum or e-brake cable is frozen. Drove all the way to work just fine, pulled the e-brake up, decided to fix my parking a bit and now the right rear doesn't move unless I stick it in 4low and lock the rear. It moves easier in reverse in 4H but that's it. Any ideas on how to unfuck it, or do I just need a heat gun and/or hammer and pound away?

Mine occasionally does that, heat gun or backwards and forwards a few times and mine comes unstuck
