I use it on high pressure natural gas pipeline equipment so I’m sure it’s fine for a vehicle. Unless it needs to be loctighted of course.

Erm, sensitive people close your eyes:

I haven’t ever noticed mine flapping that much, I also don’t think mines gone since I did it:

All of it yes, maybe that helps stiffen things up.

I might be wrong though now that I think about it, it might be growing.

Don't think it has anything to do with dirt miles. I watched @Reh5108 's bedside flapping on the interstate. They just catch wind at speed which tear them apart.

Again, not a problem for my cut bedsides. Don't think they catch wind in the same way.

I tore mine 2 years ago probably 25-30k ago, once again, I was stuck.

I’ll have to look and compare this weekend when I go home.

My remedy: nothing till I build a flatbed

Same here, my 99 doesn't have those either. Also no tears in the bedside. They feel pretty stiff as is. I will be doing the HC cut on mine since the bumper I ordered requires it. Maybe I'll add something in there to help strengthen the area after the cut is done.

Eh, if you have any uneven wear on the old tires, it might slightly change the alignment numbers, and if they road test it that might have some effect as well. I generally try to get new tires or have my current ones rebalanced around the same time as having an alignment just so everything is working together. Probably not a huge deal either way.

Excited to test out the rear shock relocation I'd just completed, I headed north from Phoenix toward Las Vegas to pick up @mrs.turbodb who was flying in for a two-ish day trip along the Old Mojave Road - a historically significant trail through the Mojave National Preserve in southern California...

...that wouldn't turn out at all as we'd planned!

Check out the first installment and tons of photos at

Mine to, but just on one the passenger's side. I took my mud flaps, including the entire bracket, off years ago. I should have cut the bracket and put it back on, but live and learn.

Last summer I took my bed off and had a friend do some welding on it. He repaired the crack, and welded in some reinforcements.

Idk about catback honestly, but honestly the whole exhaust system was over a 1k, everything past the cat was about 480, the cat 200, and the headers which I installed the beginning of January were like 500 if I remember correctly

Yeah, for now at least. We had rain this morning but it cleared up like around 9am.
