Do you know if it actually can be re-calibrated? Worst case scenario you just have to keep it turned off all the time.

Put a pro grille on it. It will drop it back down, around 3" to 4" It maybe ok then, also some have had error messages and they cleared up after 50 to 100 miles. FYI, may have lifted up to 3" without a problem, so that's why I suggest pro grille.

    Still stock completely capable!
My uncle is a service manager in Canada BC Vancouver area .. I just bought a new grill (similar to Pro grill but metal) and told him I’m planning a 3-6” and 33-35’s and he said no problem let him know when so I can book an applointment for recalibration of the TSS front sensor. Couldn’t imagine it would be different Can to USA. I would say try a different dealer but you already said tried all in your area. As far as I know it is possible but not sure if different in USA. Sorry can’t help more, good luck!

There's a guy on here selling metal TSS grills that has shims that angle the sensor down something like 3° that seemed to fix the issue. Might be worth a try?

This or, more rake. lifting the back up a bit more, or lowering front a tad, might help. Out of options on this end. Hope you get it figured out, good luck.

Of course they won't touch it because of the lift. How do you calibrate a sensor when the parameters have changed? They are just guessing at that point. They don't want the legal responsibility that goes along with guessing.

So I can't find that anywhere. If I find it again I will post it up...

He had a machine shop make the shims to help solve the TSS error issue with some of his customers I remember

Is the calibration procedure published in the TSM? Seems to me if you had a copy of Techstream, should not be difficult to calibrate by oneself, just need to know what to use for targets.

Maybe there is another thread, but has anyone gotten any more feedback on this topic?

I want to lift my TACO, but want to get the TSS calibrated. I understand the business aspect of the TRD lift, but want to see if there are any new options.

Update, capital Toyota in San Jose will do it for $ 490 and did not specify on size of lift kits. Hope this helps people doing similar searches.
