I've been looking at this bumper ( ) and I think a few members have them installed on their trucks. Are you pleased with it? Am I correct in seeing that it mounts with just two bolts per side? Pics on their website leave a little bit to be desired. Are the OE bumper brackets used, or does this one mount directly to the frame? My truck currently still has the OEM bumper along with an aftermarket 2" receiver hitch.

Any feedback is appreciated. If I do purchase this bumper, I would drive from Sacramento down to Fresno CA and buy it in person after looking it over. I called them this morning and they have 12 in stock.

I would have it powder coated before installing it, hopefully by myself.

    Thanks All

Will post pictures if you want. I have the revised AllPro AllPro edition, not the new TrailGear AllPro edition.
IMO, the new one looks horrible.

There are tons of options for rear bumpers. I used to be in love with All-Pro stuff, but after hearing stories of their customer service after they were bought out by trailgear, I tend to look elsewhere first.

You're in sacramento, I'd check out these guys:

    https://stellarbuilt.com/

These guys do some top notch work. I haven't even had anything done by them, but several friends have, and I've been to their shop to see their work.

Most bumpers are bolted straight to the frame. The recovery points on the plate bumpers are actually extensions of the frame mounts (1/2" steel) and the bumper is welded around them.

4xInnovations makes good stuff, too. I have their sliders and love them.

Even though yours is slightly older and different, yes, I'd still like to see it if pics are available.

    Thanks for the info!!

Awesome, I will definitely pay Stellarbuilt a visit. My reason for driving down to get the bumper from allpro in person is two fold. 1, avoid a large shipping fee, and 2, inspect the quality before paying for it due to the issues I read about. But hey, I like the idea of something more on the custom side. Stellarbuit may be the way to go.

Another option would be something like a DIY kit bumper if you have a welder or want to learn. Bumpers are actually a really good way to learn to weld. Mine has paid for itself 2x over with just the front bumper and sliders I've done.
