These transmissions do "learn" and do their own thing. You can drive the same exact way, same exact scenario, and it will drive differently each time on the stock tune. There are too many shift tables that have too many options. The OVtune makes these trucks drive more consistently, and you don't have to wonder which truck you are gonna get each time you drive.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

The Lights he makes and Coin Bucket are upgrades that are a must.

No. I had to expand the switch hole with a dremel tool with a cutting saw attachment. Went slow and finally got it wide enough to fit the entire switch through so it was flush mounted on the switch panel. But what I like, and happened as an unintended consequence, is that the switch won't fit flush when the panel is put onto the cubby and put back in the truck. This way, I can take it out and put it in with ease (I can just grab it and it slides right out of the hole). It doesn't rattle around and won't just randomly fall out, though.

If you don't want to get a switch panel, it does just compression fit into the stock cubby. I just had other plans for that space and added the USB and a power switch so it can be on even if the truck isn't.

Nice! Thanks for uploading these, I ordered that camera but got nervous with some of the reviews. Now I'm stoked, looks exactly what i'm looking for. What mode do you use? 1080p? 4k? Some people said the 4k doesn't work well...

Just ordered mine yesterday. Can’t wait to pop and lock my tail gate with my new to me tri folding tonneau. So stoked to be able to lock my work gear up or sports stuff when I go into a store or overnight.

Forgot to add to my post- the sabell co tailgate lock is a must have too if you don’t have a tonneau that locks or a camper shell. I used to leave my tailgate unlocked all the time and no worries, that thing is on it like a tank. Would take a lot to steal the tailgate.

Nah, 4k would just eat my memory up for daily dashcam driving. If I go somewhere really nice, I might set it to 4k but it's certainly not something I care too much for. I'm pretty sure I have mine set to 1080, but I may even see if I can drop it a little lower in order to have smaller files (or just buy a larger SD Card).

In any event, I hope you record some awesome footage with your Taco!

I used to worry about storage space, but after having my dashcam for over a year I've figured out unless you are trying to chronicle a trip or some such it's a non issue. I've got mine set at the highest level and it rewrites quite often. If I need footage as evidence of an incident it is saved. Unless of course in the odd event that something happened that the camera didn't see as an incident and I didn't notice at that time and capture. That might be lost. But that could still happen with the largest SD card and DC set at lowest level.
