I contacted that guy with the sport. Might drive up this weekend to get it if he takes 450 for it

I personally don't care for them, but I know you can buy the OEM without a VIN, just some dealers actually follow Toyota's policy, ebay has some genuine OEM ones, it'll work fine with the TSS, you just need the additional piece in front for the radar/TSS.

I wouldnt look past non OEM though, as most have found them almost identical in quality / finish (it's all made in China, lol).

Ya $600 is too much, I've seen them go for $300-400 tops. I bet he takes it.

So if I told them I had a 2017 do you think they would sell me the grille? I doubt they have a different grille for each year. They all look the same, but for some reason the 2019 they quoted it at 270 as opposed to 400 back in 2017. The Pros have the same sensor as the off roads so not sure why it wouldn’t work. The guy didn’t even know

If I go aftermarket do I just need that plastic cover to protect the sensor? It’s called a garnish right?

I'd try it, the 17 grille had that a similar removable piece for the radar (Toyota knew they were adding TSS to the 18's) but didn't actually allow for radar, was removable though, just make sure you buy the newer piece that is for the radar. I'll snag pics for ya.

You do, otherwise your shit will be all whack.
