Probably unrelated to the suspension, but the 4Runner with this setup didn't make it very far today at the Hammers. Waiting to find out what happened to take the truck out of the race so early.

The steering broke, looks like maybe 3/16" material. Not enough material for steering forces with big tires and speed impacts.

That's life.. I give em props for the good run. A few reinforcements and she'll be good as new.. I will say if they wanna extend the R&D scope there are a few long travel East coasters that will absolutely punish that stuff.. snow, slick ,mud ,and low traction rock ledges will expose every weak link. It's not uncommon to be on the revlimiter with all 4 37s locked and smoking.

Truth our style and type of wheeling is totally different than that of what this is being tested under.

I want in too. I'll have some 63's that'll need matching flex for the front.

That really sucks to see. I've been waiting to see it in action and really didn't get to.

I’m going to be coming down to ECGS in the next couple of months. I’m going to let them weld the traction bar mounts to the center section of the 60 I just got from them.

Thinking of making a little vacation out of it. Try find some local TW peeps to do some wheeling down there after.

Come mid After April and we'll hit up URE!!!!! I'll have the 63s and 14" kings done then. Plus I want to get a good peak of that 60 set up. Definitely would be down to meet up and at least grab some grub.

Uwharrie Nat'l forest. Link to the thread in my sig. Gulches in SC I haven't been to and is about 5 hrs from Raleigh. Keep me posted when you come if I am free I can pick ya up so you don't have to hang around the shop all day. But it is fun up there. I've been a customer since they opened and watched them grow to what they are now. Very good guys.

Will do. I really would like to hit some trails down there. Most of my wheeling has been at Rausch Creek in PA.

I did manage make it out to Moab the last two years, so I know what you mean about East Coast wheeling being much different. I can’t wait to get out West with the new setup, but it’ll be a few years most likely.

Those ECGS guys are awesome. They’ve gone above and beyond every time I’ve dealt with them. They have a customer for life with me.

Sorry Big Mike. Pleas Forgive the mini hijack here...

I lost my engine at AOAA with Randy. I'm going up there this summer to hit both parks

Nice. How long have you been running it?

I’m in NJ. I just want to make the trip down there.

I was just thinking the same thing. I haven’t actually wheeled AOAA yet. I need to down there.
