The trees here are called "Western Red Cedar" so I don't think this is gonna work. True the are not real cedars.

When I talked with the service manager last week, he said they don't even do this job in house, they sub it out.. So ?

Please for the love of all things holy tell me you are going to post on Michaels Toyota asking why they denied you but corporate (or the other dealer?) says you need it....espcially after their BS they posted about it

 

Trying to draft a nice way to say it....

 

I would say a simple....

"Sooo uhh Michaels....

"insert screenshot of service document stating you need it"

 

And attach a photo to top it off

 

I haven't gotten the RO yet saying I need it, but received a call from their service manager saying it was approved.

Kind of surprised they are contracting out...figured they would be trying to upsell you the whole time.

"we pulled your gas tank and it has a light layer of rust, we suggest replacing it at $X cost"

 

I would perhaps wait until it’s done? Or use that as a weapon when they try and sell you shit.

I told him the only thing I want replaced is the steering rack, and don't have a problem if I get it back in stock form. I just want all my after market shit back.

 

Double win for the both of you! Just leaves one question, do you both have the time to handle the job?
