Hmmmm tempting. But you’re talking to a guy with $450 “coilovers”. So yeah... not happening. I have a really capable setup for not much money (comparatively). I’ll take it and keep it. Also, it doesn’t give me problems. Someday I’d like some king Mid travel coilovers but not for a long time.

Same. Until I got a wild hair up my ass and bought kings for no legitimate reason. FWIW I was a bit underwhelmed with the ride quality VS OME.

I’m doing full steel skids next (this month). Then it will be a base HC rear bumper ($1200). Then archive garage HH ($350), then maybe King coilovers before a front bumper. That’s my current priority list. Fwiw I think the OME coils on 5100’s ride better than OME coils on OME shocks (that are often shorter)

I've had 884/5100, then 90000/886 once I added all my weight (that combo rode phenomenally) and now Kongs with 700lb coils. Each time has been an improvement but I was expecting a more drastic improvement between kongs and OME. Still happy though and can't wait for my 12" smoothies to get in.

BTW you're gonna love the hammer hangers. Install is a bitch but the ride improvement is insane.

I have already decided I’m not installing the HH myself. I’ll have Joe (GMG fab) do that one for me

HD dakars with an additional AAL. I bent my passenger side leaf hanger coming off a rock and I didn't realize it until I was swapping in the new leaf pack. So a week later I had the HH on. Then a month after that added the cross bar and improvement was increased even more. My passenger side shackle is also tweaked so I'll be getting the archive 3.6" shackles at some point as well.

Meh, I'll install one once I either get stuck on my stock u bolt plate or mangle it. I have yet to have it be an issue. Plus my bumps are set up exactly how I want them at the moment.

5100's (@ 0) with 885's (1/4" spacer on drivers side) , winch (synthetic line), bumper (aluminum) skids (3 piece aluminum) sliders, camper shell, 285/75r16 on 16 x 8 wheels (4.25 backset). Stock UCA's. 2.2 degrees positive caster 0/0 camber and toe. Super bumps, U-bolt flip, deavers 2" AAL. CMC and some minor trimming. Rides great. Would do EXACTLY the same thing again.... 94K miles on lift. Quite a bit of off road miles. No regrets. No desire to change. No rubs.

When you do do it you can invert your bumps and hang them from the frame. That's what I did. Worked out well.

Sure you can do that too. Drilling a hole is a pretty cheap option as well :p
