your green circle looks like the cover is black lined on the inside drapped over the mirror inside out...thats not a body mod, just the car cover imposing that impression that it is..just a thought

Yeah it does look pretty sick. Expensive though but i am sure it's worth it. Hard pill to swallow dishing out that much money for something i won't ride that much or beat up haha. Maybe i will try to find a used one.

I hope your mom has good luck with the jeep, my brother actually bought a 2011 ford ranger...last year before it was discontinued. I'm sure it will be a solid vehicle but do wish he got the tacoma instead. (So i could take it for a spin lol)

All MX / dirt bikes are getting outrageous in price these days. Get yourself a nice used YZ250X, dependable, easy to wrench on yourself and years of smoker fun.

I'll be jumping ship if the Ranger Raptor ever makes it over here.

It’s optional!! You can also buy a Tradesman trim but no fancy features. Quit your whining.

Yeah you're not kidding...i will have to look into that, thanks.

I'm sure the ranger raptor will be making its way here soon enough. Ford would be foolish not to. Only thing im concerned about is how that ecoboost would hold up over time.

I saw a youtube video of a guy who asked ford mechanics which engine they would prefer in the f150 between the 5.0 and the 2 ecoboosts (i think it was 2) and like all of them chose the 5.0 for reliability.

The Ecoboost 2.3L has been pretty reliable (and is highly tunable), except for in the Focus RS where the wrong head gaskets were used. I'm going to test drive a 19 Ranger Lariat FX4 tomorrow. I've read a lot of good things about the powertrain. I don't believe the Raptor will be showing up on the current Ranger platform. It is slated for when the platform is replaced in a few years.

Yep, I'm hoping at the least toyota addresses the transmission issues or something (if it hasn't been fixed yet but i have read it has been improved with the 19 model years)

It isn't gonna be in the european platform they will change it. Video reviews of the ranger in terms of powertrain has been positive. I like that it has more torque than horsepower.

Nice, I actually think it looks sharp in that trim, especially with the Sport package. Let us know your thoughts.

Will do. I'm looking at this configuration:

    Ranger Lariat SuperCrew
    - Lightning Blue
    - Sport Appearance Package
    - 17" Wheel Package
    - Spray In Bed Liner
    - Tow Package
    - 501A Package
    - FX4 Package

I think the truck looks great in this configuration and color. The Ford dealer is also offering me $27k trade on my 15 Tacoma, so if it drives good, I may be Tacoless for a bit. :)rangerdanger.png

I know, but I don't recall it being 1 month into it. This recall probably couldn't wait though.

Thats the Sequoia, the Tacoma is a refresh, it's not getting a powertrain update 3 years in. The 6 spd was designed for the Tacoma, they haven't got a return on investment/development yet.
