Android auto is available in 2020. That is enough to make me upgrade the head unit. If the form factor is the same.

I can’t wait to see what the new dash, seats, bed panels, bumpers, body, windshield, exhaust, brakes, steering wheel, headliner, door panels, rims, tires, bed, grille, tailgate, roof, bedrails, suspension, and basically everything else look like...

You know since “basically everything” is changing with the exception of the engine and transmission

Only thing i want from the 20s are the new headunit and power seats. Wonder if these can be modded on our trucks

Not really sure. A couple of the copy and paste articles mention it. Toyota's website just says CarPlay though.

It's for the year 2020... it shouldn't be touching the ground but should be a hover truck!

I'd be curious about Toyota offering a retrofit kit for that head unit.

Toyota completely missed the boat with the "new" Gen 3 version, should have changed so much more. My wife's 2014 Highlander Limited's electric seats are nearly infinitely adjustable including height, ventilated for those of us who live in the south and the most comfortable seats I've sat in. So why not make them available in the Tacoma? Lets hope the 2020 version finally ditches the archaic rear drum brakes. If drum brakes are so great why doesn't Toyota use them on all of their vehicles, or any other manufacturer for that matter use them on any of their vehicles? Tacoma has to be the only light truck (or car for that matter) still using those things; ridiculous! They should have dumped those with Gen 3.

I'm disappointed there is no drive-train changes, although a lot of the issues could be fixed with tuning. If Indeed they have fixed that I would like them to push out the refinement calibration updates to the other model years or at least be open and transparent about the issues. TSB Calibrations released in 2018 were an improvement but not the end all its 100% fixed.
