the question for me is will you be required to order a leather/sunroof pkg in order to get the led headlights? no sunroof for me ever.

 

Hopefully we can swap in the new headlights! They look awesome!!

 

Is there any word on the surround camera coming to regular TRD's, or is it just the Pro?

Yeah that is cringy as hell. It should either say Pro on both sides, or TRD on both sides. Having two different words on them looks stupid.

 

That's white. Army Green is the older FJ green. Same thing.

 

Looks white (dirty) but who knows.

 

For Tacoma TRD Sport, a new grille and 17-inch wheel highlight the changes. It also adds Passenger Smart Key entry, chrome taillamp inserts, and new LED fog lamps. A new LED DRL and LED headlight is available, as is the new LED bed lamp. The new Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) is available on Sport grades, and it provides views around the truck for easier, safer maneuvering in tight situations.

Tacoma TRD Off-Road will feature a new front grille design, LED foglamp, chrome insert taillamp and Passenger Smart Key entry. To provide a better view of the terrain under the vehicle, Multi-Terrain Monitor (MTM) is available. A new LED DRL and LED headlight is an available upgrade, as is a LED bed lamp. TRD Off-Road also comes standard with TRD-tuned Bilstein shocks, locking rear differential, Hill Assist Control (HAC), Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control.

 

I was kind of hoping it was only available on the Pro so I didn't have to wait for the 2020's. To me a surround camera system is too useful to pass up.

 

Note that it says it is "available" on the TRDs, so expect an option package requirement to get it.

 

I figured as much. I assume it will probably be lumped in with the premium tech package, and that will be more expensive.

I feel like they've crossed the line with the Pro at this point where they've added too many cosmetics, and it's starting to look cheesy. lol

They need to stop adding more things that make it look different, and start adding more performance differences.

Seriously, I'm so glad I'm not forced to have "TRD Pro" in my HEADLIGHTS lol whats next?? TRD BREW HOOD & ROOF SCEWPS.... NEW TRD BREW GAS CAPZ AND WINDSHIELD WIPERZ

 

I'm hoping for some spinner wheels that say PRO in them. Maybe with some glitter.

Also some bed and door scoops would be rad.

 

So, has this debuted at the auto show already? If so, I can't seem to find any videos or photos from the event. I want to see what the new screens and wheels on the sport look like.

 

Toyota seems hell bent on forcing all options down our throat. I really hope they break some of the options up.

Frankly, I just want storage behind the rear seats. The sub takes up 60% of that with the JBL system. So I am gonna get hosed on space in order to get the other stuff I do want.
