    Keep it man if you are fixing it to actually handle stuff. I remember a few guys sold their LT tacos to trying to track down another within 6 months. I get that guys have bills and shit to deal with, but if this will only alleviate a few grand, I would consider your real goals and if the Tacoma in general fits those goals.

    That said though, I hope with enough gusseting that my shit never dies.

    if i keep it taking it to DMZ for a full engine cage tim said it would be about 3k-4k

    Seems like sound logic...Either sell it to pay of debt/bills or increase debt/bills to further modify and further narrow the group of potential buyers. :)

    Shit that's good to know...maybe I might do similar later on. Would he tub all your fender wells and stuff or just cage whats needed?

    Sometimes I wonder why I am in the game. Seems like the more money I put into the truck the less I get to actually use it. That being said, when I do use it, its great!

    Might just have to be in the right area. Ever since I went out west its been almost weekly that the truck is getting out, but having people constantly wanting to go helps too. That said though, I really need to get my bypasses on sooner than later.

    Yeah I have no excuses when it comes to places to go. The majority of the state is public land. I have miles and miles of desert accessible on one side of me and on the other more mountain trails than I could ever explore during the summer and fall months.

    Those with the DMZ kit, do the hangers push the leaf springs out so that leaf perches on the axle are actually a bit wider than stock?

    No, it brings the perches in some. I used my soa perches as part of my bump strike pads

    Gotcha, thats why I was asking. The kit should be here tomorrow but I started stripping everything down last night and was thinking it would be nice to weld a pad to the top of the old perch for a strike pad. I will leave them on the axle for now.

    Leave them for now. My strike pads are nasty looking. But I basically welded a piece of 1/4 and supports to the perch. Just make sure yours lines up. I didn’t check that the best which is why mine look nasty. But hey, they work

    So the bed is off getting read to install the DMZ kit. I haven't ever dropped the fuel tank but figured to weld on the front hanger on that side it would be necessary. Any tips or tricks from those who have done it to save me a mess. Rolled the truck into the garage on fumes so the tank is pretty close to empty already.

    Leave the tank and just wedge a welding blanket to cover it. O need to drop the tank. It’s a pita

    The shop that did my install did the same as this. I don't know if it is the best approach, but it worked for my rig too.

    Cool, I will definitely go that route. I thought I was going to have to drop it based on space.
