My Relentless Fab armor is like a fine wine. As it ages, it becomes more mature and pungent. It can only get better.

It is already welded, or tacked together. Most of it is prefabricated.

Fine when you realize that you have to install it. "Which way does the bolts go?"

I believe he has BMW 300 series seats.

Two or three years ago, I bought these beautiful black Leather power seats with memory foam, motorized everything, dual stage heat, and seat position memory from a 2001 Lexus ES300. Even has bolster airbags. It had so many features there was a damn search ECU under the DS seat.

I got pretty far along in the wiring, including cutting the feet off the Lexus seats. I took seat brackets from a 60/40 Tacoma and cut all the useless crap out and retained the sliding mechanism since I have an extended cab. I welded angle iron on top of that, which I planned to weld the Lexus seats onto.

    Two issues here.

    A. They sat far too high since I was stacking the Lexus seat rails on top of the Tacoma seat rails.

    B. The sliding feature didn’t really do shit to help a passenger get into the rear of my extended cab.

I use back seats so often that that sliding and folding feature was imperative to me. So I had to scrap the project since it just wouldn’t work out. This is not an issue with double cabs since the sliding and folding feature is not necessary at all since there are obviously rear doors.

A few weeks ago I was fixing up a two door Scion tC and I noticed how great the seats were. All manual (poverty spec, I know.) I had to pick up some brake hardware at Pick-n-Pull, but somehow I left with two seats. This time I cut the Tacoma feet out and currently they’re tack welded to the Scion tC seats. Ran out of C25 while I was tacking and haven’t had the chance to finish.

But they fit way better. I ran it for a few hours just getting a feel for it. The best part is they slide and fold like stock.

I never understood lanyards. I had one once, friends would grabbed it, taking my keys out of my pocket and then they’d go move my truck in the parking lot.
