i have a spending issue, I'm cheap, but I dropped 450 on Amazon workout equipment and didn't even bat an eye.

Nope and nope. I have a protein shake at lunch and then a very large dinner.

 

I can get 30 acres right now for 59,990

I do. Cheaper land, cheaper taxes, cheaper tags, more rural, i can buy a small farm and have cows, pigs, chickens, and a small garden. I wont buy a house unless it has min of 5 acres. I want 15 or more. And i can ger a pretty decent place with 15 or more for under 150k here. Then only pay 800 a year in property tax. I think yall crazy as hell for wanting to live near all the hustle and bustle. Ill stick to my quit woods and fields and cheaper shit lol.

 

you're ridic. I can miss breakfast, not lunch. no way no how. I did the warrior diet for a month one time and I skipped lunch, lost weight/kept muscle, hated my life.

 

I've been doing it for about 8 months now. The hunger went away after about the third month. I've kept all the weight off that I lost a while back and have made muscle gains as far as new PRs go so I'm not hurting at all. I can't tell you how many people at work have lectured me on how I'm harming myself. Gets old.

 

nah you're fine, I've studied all of that. it just hurts my mental health. I enjoy food and eating too much to only do it once a day.

 

I love grilling so it's a challenge for me to figure out different ways to grill, say, a chicken thigh. Some nights it's a struggle to get the motivation to cook something. A real struggle. Those nights, grill cheese or hodge podge it is. We'll usually cook 4-5 nights a week. The other nights are for leftovers. Breakfast is usually oatmeal and fruits, lunch a sammich. Weekends we cook bigger breakfast. Unless I get up late on Sunday and we don't have time before Church. Our plan of late is to use the Oil-less fryer for cooking a whole bird that will give us lunch meat for the week. Tried it this week but Tiffany got the flu so the week has kinda been all jacked up. Putting on a hazmat suit takes time and it's hard to cook in it.

the fact that "lunch is a sammich" is the type of stuff that gets me. sure twice a week that's good, but I am not doing that every day. can't stand it. it's more difficult to be frugal on food AND have variety.

This is exactly what I was going to refer to. As "healthy" as some diets may be on your body, mental health is much more important to me than physical health. You will never be/stay/achieve any physical health goals if your mental health is unstable or just plain shitty.
