Lol I really just guessed my way through it but a fab shop could prob knock it out pretty quick. I'm busy for the next 11 weeks straight with work but I could try and help at some point. I think the diy cost was around 250 or 300 for tube, spindles, latch, wire, paint etc

That white wire is frustrating. I've assisted a couple other people with basic wiring stuff and it's all red wire.

I got a bunch of various gauge GXL wire from ebay. The word is it's all excess from manufacturing. I think a set of 14 guage, 25 feet each color, 5 or 8 colors or something was like $25.

Having everything color coded makes life much much easier.

    Nice. I’ll look that up.

This is where I (actually we, my dad is the guru when it comes to car electrical) started. Trying to marry the bigger loom from the XJ to smaller loom on my YJ. Nice thing is I can re use all the excess wires I cut out of the bigger loom!

Looks like a giant pain in the ass but it'll be worthwhile once it's all done.

I'd love to swap in a 1KZ turbo diesel into my truck so I can burn my endless supply of used fryer oil. Besides smog the biggest hurdle for me would be electrical. I know next to nothing about it. I can crimp and solder and that's about it.

Another thing I did was used nice connectors everywhere. I got them here:

Truck will be fine. I ran my billies for awhile and had zero issues. Not sure why so much hate against them. Not like she will be running the rubicon on them....and even then, i have seen rigs with billies run it

Lol... For what she does with her truck, I'd like to see what he suggests she should run.

They're not Kings, but it's not like her truck is going to Moab. Bilstiens are 100% better than Rancho, Pro Comp, or many of the other garbage shocks that are available for her truck.

Yup, same here...my billies did pretty well. Right up to the point that a front one blew and a rear one unscrewed itself from the lower mount and marred the threads at 15,000 miles in the middle of no where baja with a couple hundred miles of dirt to get to pavement.

With that said if I didn't off road I'd buy them again with out hesitation. I think what happened to me isn't common with those shocks. They're a solid shock for the money. Just don't abuse the hell out of them.

Worst terrain her truck will really see is a jacked up fire road in the spring.

Yeah, I think I did about 1200 miles of that year's Baja 1000 course in the days before that. Probably driving too fast too.

Richmond-San Rafael Bridge shut down in both directions due to falling concrete on the lower deck. Avoid the area.

I just caught my friend who goes to Sonoma State who takes that bridge. He was about leave to the Bay Area.
