For the heater hoses the manifold will need to come off.....

I know the HPS hoses are the most used but has anyone used the Mishimoto hoses. They have one more ply than the HPS. Also going to do all the vacuum lines. Anyone know if a kit with 3mm, 4mm, and 8mm will do all of ours?

 

Gonna need to resd more on the hose swaps you guys are talking about. The hose swap is new info for me. Don't know how it would help, other than hose longevity.....teach me something.

 

Yeah I had a set and sold em. I didn’t want to remove the manifold just to install the heater hoses and I found out the bottom radiator hose would end up hitting a bracket due to the s/c.

 

I wonder if enough of us Supercharged owners would go to HPS if we could get them to make a lower for the Supercharger? Hell I’d buy a OEM lower to send them to prototype with haha!!

 

That’d be nice...I found out through Thomas Moore 66, he was the one installing them and found out the hard way. The bracket rubbed too much and unfortunately was in the way of that lower hose....

 

I haven't read through all 61pgs so hopefully this wasn't asked already. Would the electric fan kit work with this rad and FJ shroud setup? I believe it should but would like to hear it from somebody who has fitted the new rad for peace of mind.

 

Fedex guy was nice enough to drop this off.
Now I need to get the shroud, reservoir, thermostat and read up more on the hoses you guys are talking about.
