Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
It takes me 10 weeks to think about getting something done. I've had a new grille since last September that MIGHT get installed in the next month or so. It's the second of two, changed my mind before the first one ever made it to prime time.

Finished plans for the overlanding bed drawer system, complete with space for a solar power bank and water system. Time to build!

...Also decided I didn't want to drop $720 to buy and ship a designer shell roof rack when I could make my own for less than $150. Will be water-jetted next week.

Got the genesis G-screen installed. I’m not running a dual battery, that’s why it’s yellow. It allows me to monitor my battery, but mainly I wanted the air pressure gauge. Nice clean install

Haha. The one I work at? It's happened before, but not this time. It's odd that the setup I have doesn't cover patches, but covers a brand new tire.

I definitely left myself open for that. I would have done the same thing.

Not that odd. Patches are considered "unsafe" (yeah, I use them too). Has to do with heat dissipation. Use of a plug or patch could potentially lead to a blow-out.

Makes sense. Just doesn't seem cost effective for them. I'm ok with that too. Either way, as a dealership employee I'd get a bit of a break. I'm happy with the outcome.

First oil change with 4,925 miles on it. I feel better and didn't want to wait until 10,000 miles.

This just came in the mail...

I know a bunch of you are already familiar with the 80/20 brand (they really need a better name) of do-it-yourself aluminum extrusions and such.

Here are the plans for making your own truck bed sliding shelf:

edit: Woops. I didn't realize you had to register to download, sorry. I'll leave the link in case someone wants to bother with it.

Just picked up a Front Runner Rack from a BMW shop for $125, so stoked to mount this.

I believe for bed/camper shell, it was just listed as 54x46", either way wasn't about to let this one slip by in the end I could always flip it for way more $$$

I bought a Decked system off of Craigslist and the guy I bought it from helped me install it. With my tax return I will probably be purchasing a Softtopper.
