C'mon man, a little suspense never hurt anyone. :p Plus, the ADS have never been on a trip. Who knows if I'll even like them and want to keep them. Maybe I'll go back to the Toytec's. :notsure:

AND - I though the question was asked because you could see the front coils in that photo where I was headed down the moguls.

...At 60 feet in, the water was quite clearly up over the top of the tires and bottom of the doors on the driver side and I could tell it was even deeper on the passenger side - @mrs.turbodb now much more serious about the crossing than she'd been the afternoon before. And we were still getting deeper.

"Hope it levels out." I think I said out loud, "We're getting really close to the intake." My adrenaline at this point was high, but I kept my cool and made sure to keep a good bow wake in front of the truck.

Youre scoring! They were supposed to get 7-9 ft of fresh powder last weekend with cold weather all week. It will be super good snow for riding, or skiing!

FWIW, I was not that happy with the valving that came in my coilovers. Hopefully they've updated it since I got mine.

I’ll definitely check that stuff out but I found out I have some bigger problems now, 2 big ol’ holes in my frame down by each side of the leaf springs

Ouch. That's a common spot for rust damage on these trucks. Check out Autorust.com they sell sections of frame that you weld in place of the rusty sections

Has anyone ever put weep holes in these bad spots. 1/8 in hole would not hurt the structural integrity and eliminate the pooling.

    Little bit of lift, dents-n-dings
    Bought new tires...
Went a size smaller from 285/75R16 to 265/70R16
They obviously look way smaller, but I' ll get used to it. What I need are wheels with a half inch more offset for the larger size.

It was in need of a tweaking on @drr too. Same with my Icons, so far the only one people don't immediately tweak seems to be Kings but I'm sure that doesn't mean they wouldn't benefit as well

    Stuff. Also things.
I LOVED my King COs right out of the box, but the only thing I’d change is maybe going to a flutter stack to help on washboards.

That's what I had done to the Icons, and because they're digressive rebound I had them soften the shimstack up a touch there too.

Screw waiting for the paint to dry. It was dry enough to handle, mostly...

Started a valve adjustment check. Hope to get them confirmed and know what needs adjusting tomorrow afternoon. 1995 2.7 with 156,000. Probably never adjusted before. I bought it with about 150,000 on it.

I did a few quick stabs and it seemed exhausts were about mid-range and intakes were on the minimum end of the range.

Got a new rack and pinion on today.... Never did it before and it was a way bigger pain than I thought it would be. Hopefully next time will be easier.

Is there a full write up for this? I probably need to do the u joints and possibly have it balanced? I already replaced the I joint a year ago. But I still get vibrations.
