Not when I was looking, only place to have one on hand was Oxnard and it was in quicksand. So I knew I was buying it before I showed up to start wheeling and dealing. The best part was playing off the color as distasteful. “Hey, that looks like a city maintenance truck or a zookeepers truck from la zoo”. Took the wind out of the managers sails when I said that after he brought it around.

Yeah, I've ordered a car before, but was really hoping to find a 2018 in a trim I liked. Looks like I just need to widen my search to surrounding states. Might be a good reason to go visit friends. :)

You can order a double cab with a 6 foot bed, at least in my state: https://www.toyota.com/configurator/build/step/model:cab-bed/year/2019/series/tacoma/model/7150

I think one big reason for the lack of popularity is that a double cab long bed will not fit inside a typical suburbanite garage.

Access cabs seem pretty readily available in the Washington DC metro area.

I always have to remember to filter them out when doing searches or else I get all happy when I see the price for one before realizing it's an Access cab. (I need a double cab)

I wouldn't have thought it was the kind of thing where you'd have to search out of the area for.

I'm not sure how rare the DCLB are with the Tacoma. They're hard to come by with the Nissan Frontier. But a local Chevy dealership seems to have a lot available for the Colorado.

New for 2020 they have the 2’ bed and 10’ beds. Surprised everyone missed that on the press release.

I'm not familar with Austin but when I looked up the Charles Maund Toyota site it looks like it has about sixteen Access cabs.

For some reason for the body style you have to select Truck and not Access Cab.

I got my OR DCLB in San Antonio just before Christmas. There were a few available around town at that time.

Took me a few months to find a long box double cab offroad in orange with orange trim and seat stitching... they are out there, but sometimes hard to find. Nice thing is not many people want them, so they are generally cheaper.

Those DCSB trucks sell by the boatload to people that secretly lust after a Ridgeline (or if they put a cap on the bed) an AWD Sienna.

    J/K of course..

    sorta ;-)

All Access Cabs have 6’ Beds. DC’s are either 5’ or 6’.

When you say newish, do you mean you're looking for used? Looking at the CPO offerings on the Toyota website, it looks like the offerings for CPO is kind of small for your area. Maybe about three in a 100 mile radius of Austin. Don't know about the private listings and non CPO offerings for your area.
