What did I do to my Tacoma? Got gas. Still getting around 18.5 MPG's.

What did I do on Tacoma World? Ventured into a 3rd gen thread. Whats with all the aggression Man?

And I thought I was a thread derail-er! LoL Its nuts over there.

Update: Popped the hood today, could smell the burning smell all over the engine bay, but couldn't see the culprit. I'm guess it's because I put the dust cover back on after doing the uni filter mod and maybe the secondary pump was being overworked to compensate for lack of air flow. Pulled the cover off and will see if the smell goes away... :fingerscrossed:

I also picked up a couple small parts for my truck at the dealer, the headliner is on backorder.

Installed some Philips X-tremeVision +130% headlight bulbs.

Testing out the new reverse lightbulbs.

I have to say the pictures don't do them justice. My lenses are dirty and covered in salt and in person they look extremely white and clear.

Said this in another thread... and I'll say it in this one too! (...at the risk of derailing it) I would rather be in -35°F than 115°F.

Changed engine oil and oil filter early in the morning, before it's too hot.
I always used full synth 5 W 40 for more than 6 years, and my Taco is happy

You can always put more layers on. You can only take so much of before you are naked and arrested.

Truth. Also, running outside or doing errands is worse in the heat. You can't be cool when you go from your house to the car or car to the store, etc. in the heat. When its cold, you layer up, and stay warm for those short periods. Its not bad at all.

Now I need to find someone who can make me a mounting plate out of aluminum to mount my relay box. I have a crude drawing and no fab skills.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
I have one that you may be interested in. I will get pics. It has a cut out for a bussman already and space for additional relays or switches.

I just noticed that I ordered switches with white LED's. The package isn't marked. I'll have to hook each one to the battery to check the LED color.
