1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Operates the elevators and public access doors to my university. I just got issued a new one.

 

My cousin is the Head Engineer for Alameda County. He has the master keys to Oracle Arena.

I had mine powdercoated in Prismatic powders crushed silver color.

 

Same backspacing as the 1st gen taco aluminum wheels. I paid $120 for mine and they looked like crap once I pulled a poorly sprayed plastidip layer off. I paid $370 all said and done for the sandblasting & powdercoating, another $100 to get the center caps painted (long, painful story there, just choose a paint shop wisely). I did it over a few months to make paying for it all easier to handle.

I had a WJ with 200k on it. Ran great aside from all the electrical problems, the 4 0 has more torque than the 3.4 so it's more fun to drive too
