Well I've seen the 2020 and it's the same truck accept for led headlight, slightly different trail lights and a new headunit with apple CarPlay. Was review on TFL at the Detroit auto show.

So now new Tacoma until at least 2021.

Is this a genuine rumor? If so, that’d be horrible.

No one mentioned you specifically so you shouldn’t be offended by what I was saying about the others that were responding to a pointless thread with silly comments. It was pretty clear what I meant about what was being said. It happens on almost every thread in the 3rd gen section and it’s kind of sad. On a light note... Hope you get a new one and enjoy it! I know I will.

    Ok now I’m triggered.. haha.

But really you are correct. I very much will. Whenever I see a quicksand OR access cab I drool a bit. And then when I’m REALLY lucky I come across one in cement..

Maybe you're right; maybe humor, jokes, and fun have no place here.

Yep. All business here. Don’t you have enough threads and friends in the 2nd gen section?

I don’t blame you. Taco owners (especially 3rd gens) are good people. Just silly threads and comments from Taco owners and non Taco owners to sift through constantly to find necessary valuable info on this forum. There were literally 5-10 threads yesterday alone about the 2020 Tacoma most were helpful, some not so much like this one.

It’s just pointless for people that don’t want the truck to just just come and comment about how much it sucks and how much they don’t want to buy it or criticize the changes Toyota has made. That’s how threads get locked all of the time.

People come here to stir the pot and then say how our forum is always bad. Doesn’t really make much sense to me. It’s a free world, but it doesn’t make much sense for people that dislike our gen to constantly criticize it.

I would never waste my time or energy doing the same in a non 3rd gen forum yet it happens here all the time. I’m here to learn and have a good time but sometimes I gotta mention it to keep it real.

Example of a thread that was trying to be a decent resource...

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2020-taco-and-trd-pro-lineup.591898/page-10#post-19808452

    Another...

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2020-tacoma-changes-announced-android-auto-apple-carplay.591980/

And then there is this thread...
