Considering your getting springs, bearings, an assembled third with an arb, plus all the fab stuff, and an entire axle I would say that price is decent (with the options I priced for shits and giggles)

An arb is $1500, gears are 1k, bearings, brakes etc etc say 1k at least. $3500 right there no setup and no fab parts or axle.

Also your getting an axle that’s as wide as the first gen which for some is a good thing.

Generally to rebuild an axle (depending on components) your looking at 3-6k with the axle purchased and stuff. (Based on my research of larger rear axles recently). However, even with being about the same $ into a set of Dana 60’s, you have tons. But you will need to run a larger tire (40-42) to make up for the lost ground clearance of the huge pumpkin.

Moral of the story.....fun things are expensive.
